This is my 1st review ever on Amazon. I just wanna say that Joey Bada$$ is bringing back the 90s hip hop vibe. As of right now, he's the best new rapper to come out in a loooong time. I've been telling people for years now that Soulja Boy was the final nail in Hip Hop's coffin, because every rapper that came after him...wack. waka flocka, french montana, chief keef, young thug, etc SMFH!!

Pardon me for jumping off topic, but anyway...if you wanna hear "real" lyrics and dope beats...This is the album hands down!! I hope Joey doesn't sell out, because right now he's on some "iLLmatic" s***(relax, i'm not saying it's better). But you get my point!!

It's crazy how far Joey has come. I always said to myself that one day his music would be widely recognized and he would be put in the same category as Kendrick and J. Cole. Although it took a long time (2 years) for him to give us the album, it was worth the wait. B4.DA.$$ pretty much has every kind of song that you could ask from Joey. From songs with a positive message to radio hits, this album without a doubt deserves 5 stars.

P.S.- Watch out for Raury later in the year. He killed his part on Escape 120.

Real good debut. I'm not a big fan of his mixtapes but he shines on his debut. The production is the main star of this album. All of the beats sound perfect for his style. Joey stepped his delivery game up to me. He sounds more fresh and energetic than I have ever heard him for a full length. This is my #1 album for the year so far. Support good music and motivate this young brotha to keep this up. Hotep.

I would have to say this is a real good debut album by Joey. He gives you that old school New York rap style that a lot of people respect while adding some of that 2014-2015 flavor to it. If you're a fan of "boom bap" type music then you should add this to your collection. The only negative on this album is the bonus tracks. I felt like he should have kept those off of the project.

I have been listening to Joey ever since he dropped his 1999 mixtape; and I have been excited for this new project since the release of singles, such as, Christ Conscious, Big Dusty, and No. 99. I finished this album shortly after purchasing it and I enjoyed every track. I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of lyrical thought provoking hip hop; and anyone who is a fan of 90's boom bap rap.

Joey's doing the old school feel just right and still mixes in modern sound, and it's all so good. Stacked with great producers, Joey's on point, features were too. No wonder there were so many pre-release singles, the whole album is solid. Stand out hip hop album right now, and don't forget he made this at 19! Obvious purchase for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Razones para creer
Reviewed in Spain on July 5, 2015

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible album, but terrible sound quality vinyl
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 11, 2015
The album itself is incredible. A truly unique artist. Couldn't recommend him or this album more!

BUT, i originally bought the iTunes album, then the CD and both sounded great. I then bought this 12" Vinyl version and the sound quality is appalling. My MP3s sound so much better.

I have extremely good needles and my other vinyl still sounds great so is not an issue there.

BUY THE ALBUM - JUST DON'T BUY THIS VINYL VERSION (there may be other vinyl versions that are better)
